Mario Kart Tour Reviews

I got bored quick with this one. The track variety is seriously lacking, and after a while it just feels like the same handful of courses keep showing up with barely any changes. Little Recycle Racer here really needs a lot more tracks if it wants to stay fun for more than a short session.

I do genuinely like Mario Kart Tour, and when it’s running smoothly, it’s a lot of fun. The problem is that on my phone it freezes or crashes way more often than I’d expect, especially for a game where timing actually matters. I’ll be in the middle of a race, trying to take a turn or use an item, and then the game starts lagging so badly that I either miss what I was doing completely or just get kicked out. It’s extra frustrating because the game itself is a good idea and I want to keep playing it, but the stability issues make it hard to enjoy for more than a few races at a time. I keep hoping the updates will fix it, but so far it mostly feels the same. Fun game, just needs to be a lot more reliable

After checking the tour updates a few times, I started to feel like I was seeing the same events over and over again. From my experience, it just gets less exciting when there isn’t much new to look forward to

I’ve been having fun with the multiplayer races overall, but the lag can get frustrating sometimes. It’s even more annoying when I’ve already been sitting in a queue waiting to get into a match, and then the race starts stuttering anyway. Still fun when it works, though.

I didn’t expect mariokarttour.com to look this bad on my phone, honestly. The colors feel all over the place, some of the images look blurry, and a few screens have that cheap, rushed look. It’s the kind of thing where the company can say it’s “optimized” or “immersive” or whatever, but my eyes are telling me something else.

Maybe other people won’t care as much, but the visuals really took me out of it. For something with the Mario Kart name attached, I thought it would feel way cleaner and smoother. Instead it just looks dated, like they pushed it out before it was really ready.

I actually liked the game at first, the gameplay was fun and I kept thinking I’d stick with it. But then every other thing felt like it was nudging me toward buying rubies. Maybe I just had bad luck, but the rewards started to feel weirdly stingy, like you’re always one pull away from something decent. And the prices? Way too much for what you get. I ended up spending money, regretting it quickly, and then just deleted the game. Kind of a shame because there’s a decent game buried under all the paid pull pressure

It feels like the rewards aren’t worth the effort anymore. Progress is so slow, the payouts are tiny, and it just feels like you’re grinding forever for barely anything. I even had to chase them up about it, which made the whole experience more frustrating

I had to wait a few days for support to reply, which was already frustrating. And then when they finally did, it felt like a copy-paste response that didn’t really address what I was asking. I get that teams get busy and all that, but still, after waiting that long I expected something a bit more helpful. Just not a great experience overall

I wanted to like this on my phone, but the touch controls are just awful. They feel weird and slippery, like some half-baked little afterthought, and I keep missing turns and items because of it. it turns what should be fun into a annoying mess.

The character selection feels unfair. A lot of the best characters are either locked or only show up when I don’t really have a chance to get them. The karts feel the same way too, with too many repeats and not enough exciting options. After a while, it makes the races feel a lot less fun, and I just end up feeling frustrated instead of excited to keep playing.

I’ve played Mario Kart Tour on and off for a while, and from what I remember, the Gold Pass never really felt worth the monthly cost. You do get some extra rewards and perks, but unless you’re playing all the time, it feels like the price adds up faster than the benefits. The game itself is still fun, but I always got the impression that the paid stuff was being pushed a little too hard

It’s just gotten boring. I used to enjoy it, but now it feels more annoying than fun, and I kind of don’t even want to bother with it anymore.
